Move from IRC to Matrix?

Hi all,

Personally, I don't think I'd bother trying to get ZNC or anything else to work.
I'm waiting for an eventual resolution of the issues that caused the Matrix bridge to be disabled, and in the meantime I'm connected when I'm connected and that's that.
So migration to Matrix would obviously suit me, and I agree with Alex that it would probably be better for new contributors too (in addition to the usability arguments Brian made).
