Inclusion of xfce4-equake-plugin in xfce debian package

I was wondering if it would be possible to include xfce4-equake-plugin
in an existing xfce package such as xfce4-goodies because it makes it
easier to release an update.
Right now every time I release an update or fix I have to find a debian
mentor to actually release it, which sometimes can take months. If it is
part of an existing xfce package where the mainbtainer can release it
themselves I only have to release the update to the xfce website for
automatic inclusion (I believe).
I am working on a fix to make it work with the newer xfce4 panel in
debian testing.
The reason I released the package on its own to debian some years ago is
because when I asked this before on here it didn't seem possible. Or
rather the response was jaded, which I can understand. So I had to do
all the work myself to get it into debian.
It just gets tiresome to find a mentor each time.
Thank you,
Jeroen
