I for one would love to see tabs in Thunar.  I liked the split pane in 
Nautalaus but it seems even that is getting ready to go away. Would be 
nice to have two tabs open and be able to move/copy files between the 
tabs as well.

I would be willing to build a test of it in a VM for testing.
