Let's be honest, the 4.6 xfce4-display-settings is almost totally 
useless. It "magically" works for some people but it fails with most 
configurations. So we won't have regressions ^^ We fixed a bunch of 
those issues in the current branch though.

"intel radeon nouveau nv geode smi support it. the rest don't. or 
    something like that."
