Yeah, well I though just say it, maybe it will lead to another good idea ^_^.

We could implement TryExec support in the settings manager and the menu
and test if the desktop entry is 'valid'. This way we could either hide the icon
or send an error message from the manager. Probably not a great addition
if the specific settings dialog does this check, but it wouldn't
violate the TryExec
usage IMHO.
