Well, this list of features *is* distribution-independent. It's all
about Xfce implementations/features.

This, of course, is ok. A Wiki page for collecting ideas can't be
wrong. I just won't follow the discussions made on that page - and
probably, most of the Xfce devs won't. So in the end, it will have to
be discussed here anyway.
