New MCS dialog won't work with plenty of plugins

Ok, I set the maximum number of columns to 4 and add a scrolled window when
that would have been exceeded (> 24 items). This means the maximum number of 
rows without scrolling is 6. I believe that gives a reasonable dialog size.

If anyone wants to take the real screen size into account, feel free to code
something up. I don't really want to bother with that.
