Right. There is a delay, but not in xffm. GTK also detects triple
clicks. So the double click hits where intended, but the "first" click
on the *other* file is really interpreted as a triple click, and the
"second" click is seen as a first click.
Just change your mouse settings with xfce-mcs-manager to correct the
problem. Choose "faster" double click speed (that will reduce the fixed
delay).
