Changing number of SHORTCUTS from 10

Okay, if the law has been laid down, I can deal with that.
Now, back to the original question. Any suggestions on where I might have
missed something on adding SHORTCUTS? (as a personal deal now, I've started
and would like to finish even if it's not wanted/needed.)
