maximised windows

I'm posting this from a new email addy, hope that doesn't break anyone's
mailreader . . .
The real issue with xfwm and maximized windows is not about moving
windows, although that is an irritant. The issue is with the resize
handles on the sides of the window.
I usually only maximize browser windows - the web has been built around
IE which is almost always run maximized. The problem is that I often
want to restore the window to it's former size. The problem is that
since xfwm uses the entire window frame for resize handles (good in my
mind) an accidental click on the screen border makes xfwm operate as if
I had resized from the maximized state - even if the window did not
change size. This is complicated by the fact that I often _do_ want to
resize the window manually, but from the right hand corner, and xfwm
defines a pitifully small one pixel area for corner resizes.
Moving maxed windows is good (though I like the idea of being able to
restore their old size). Resizing maxed windows is also good. Having
accidental clicks on the easiest part of the screen to hit (the screen
border) cause the window to loose it's state - bad.
