Panel issues

Hello,

as for my last mail didn't get much attention I'm writing this mail to
at least get a notice by a few among you ;-)

1) The panel theming is somewhat broken. If I try to change the theme
its changing properly but I'm getting these error messages at the console:

(xfce4-panel:8520): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme file for default has no name

(xfce4-panel:8520): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme file for default has no name

(xfce4-panel:8520): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme file for default has no name

Note: That is only ONE theme change. These messages appear on any theme
change I do to the panel.
Right the same happened to xfdesktop once but somehow Brian fixed it ..
althought he can't recall how ;-)

2) The panel's autohide function is broken with GTK 2.4. As described
earlier the ways to reproduce it are fairly easy.

a) Make sure you're having GTK 2.4 installed, the latest panel from CVS
head and the session manager.
b) Put the panel in autohide mode and let it hide itself to $SCREENEDGE.
c) Exit X and restart it afterwards.
d) Try to bring up the panel

As you will see the panel stays hidden at $SCREENEDGE. The only way to
get around it is to disable and reenable autohide again. From then on
its working flawlessly.
Jasper hasn't done much work on the panel lately (Suddenly he seems to
be obsessed by his Real Life (tm) ;^) so I expect it to be some kind of
panel vs. GTK 2.4 oddness.

Thats it ..

Regards,

Moritz
