moving menu items around with the mouse

One of the things I've noticed is that once I put an item in a launcher
drawer (within a menu in the XFCE panel) I cannot drag and drop it onto
another menu on the panel. If I create a new icon and attach a menu
item, and decide to reorganize, I have to re-enter all the information
for each launcher entry. Is there an easier way to do this or has this
already been  tagged as a feature request?
