For the last issue I have found a workaround:
In [Keyboard] [Application Shortcuts] I have added:
wmctrl -s 0 Ctrl+F1
wmctrl -s 1 Ctrl+F2
wmctrl -s 2 Ctrl+F3
wmctrl -s 3 Ctrl+F4
