Meanwhile I have found the cause of the problem:
xbindkeys also stopped working. When I start it in debugging mode, I see:
framstag at diaspora:~: xbindkeys -k
Press combination of keys or/and click under the window.
You can use one of the two lines after "NoCommand"
in $HOME/.xbindkeysrc to bind a key.
"(Scheme function)"
m:0x10 + c:67
Mod2 + F1
But what I have really typed in was [F1] and NO additional modifier key!
This means: xbindkeys sees a [Mod2] key, which I have not pressed!
I suppose the Xfce window manager sees [Mod2] [Ctrl] [F1] instead of a
simple [Ctrl] [F1] - but why?
