Hi,
with the new release theming has changed a little bit. If you getting a
blank screen when starting xfdashboard then you are likely using a
customized theme. Please remove or rename any customized themes in
${HOME}/.local/share/themes and ${HOME}/.themes which affect
xfdashboard. Also please revert the default value "xfdashboard" in
xfconf property "/theme" in group (or channel) xfdashboard. The easiest
way is to use 'xfce4-settings-editor', select "xfdashboard" left in the
channels list, then mark 'theme' and click on "Reset". I will add a FAQ
entry soon.
The documentation for unstable version are improved and up-to-date. The
settings documentation includes also the new key binding configuration.
Even if most parts of the documentation are created dynamically there
might be bugs, typos and other mistakes or even paragraphs making no
sense at all. If you find anything or if you have improvement advices
please tell me.
