No need to recompile and reinstall the whole program, just recompile
the fixed PO file with msgfmt:

    sudo msgfmt -c /path/to/source/po/de.po -o
/usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/xfburn.mo

Make sure the paths match your local installation.
