Why do I get messages in Xfce Terminal Emulator ?

To avoid misunderstandings, IIUC it's autostarted when starting a Xfce  
session? And it's started by 'exec /usr/bin/pcmanfm' or different and in  
what way? There are several ways for an autostart, when starting a WM/DE  
session. No crystal ball here ;).
