maximum window size

Xubuntu 14.0 + Xfce 4.10
Hi,
since a couple of days if I maximize a window, everything right of the 
minimize button vanishes. I suppose the reason is that I use bar 1 
(Leiste 1) vertical on the left side of the screen. But this was no 
problem for many years.
