[4.10, Xubuntu 14.04]: First access of menu very slow

Hi there,

this surely is not a huge bug, but it's one of those little things that
is annoying on a daily basis :)

Is there any way to speed up the very first access of the menu in a session?

That doesn't seem to depend on the menu type, because either in default
xfce menu or in whisker it can take up to several seconds even on
powerful pcs.

Maybe someone has got a hint for me.
