Xfce 4.10: Unable to change number of workspaces

Dear Folks,

Thanks for a fine desktop environment.

On Fedora 17, I have upgraded Xfce to 4.10, and now cannot get other
than two workspaces.  The Workspace Settings dialogue box allows me to
change the "Number of workspaces", but this does not affect the
number of rows appearing under the "Names" heading, and the number of
workspaces remains at two regardless of the way "Number of workspaces"
is adjusted.

I obtained the RPM packages here:
