Jesse, this's obviously a bug but I (and I guess most of others) haven't
seen it before.
Can you please help us find it?
You will need:
- install *-dbg packages (anything like xfce4*-dbg or libxf*-dbg,
libexo*-dbg, xfconf-dbg, perhaphs also libgtk*-dbg etc.)
- press "Alt-F2" and type "xterm" (or any other terminal), don't start
it from the panel.
- while in the terminal, type "xfce4-panel -q" - this will close the panels.
- type: "gdb xfce4-panel"
Now you have the panel running inside a debugger. Do the actions you
need to reproduce the crash.
Once the panel has crashed, type "bt" in the terminal with gdb and
copy/paste the result into a bugzilla.xfce.org report (preferably) or here.
Thanks,
Andrzej
