printer settings

xfprint settings is used to nominate the print system, eg none, cups  or
lpd-bsd. Where is this setting stored and can it be manually edited. I
do not have xfprint-settings installed on this system and while shared
printers are seen they can not be accessed perhaps editing to Cups will
solve this problem.
