No. Using ctrl+function key changes desktops directly.

I searched bugzilla.xfce.org but didn't find anything related. Maybe
I'll report it as a bug, although I don't see it as a bug. I suppose
xfce does not know diagonal change of desktops by using the mouse and
tries to change to the respective desktop over the neighbours.
