Upstreaming is for sending patches to upstream. You are talking about
branding.

Upstream is fine with the current layout (I guess everybody got that?).
So there's no point bugging them on that. Bug your distro packagers if
you don't like the default layout *they* provide.

(oh, and btw, if someone wants me to change the Debian default layout, I
take $90 per hour, as Brian ;p)
