It is very nice to hear this :) In the 2nd stab at the vertical cycle
window, there is /some/ but not a huge amount of scalability. The screen
shots on the bug will hopefully convey the idea. The native tab window can
handle a huge number of windows, but if there is a label next to each icon,
you run out of screen real estate about 3-5 times as fast.

In the 2nd screen shot, the thing to notice is that the labels in the first
column (most recently used) are not truncated, but the labels in columns 2
and up are truncated to 28 characters including the "..."

On a mode general note, it's preferable to open a feature request

I tried to copy the style as much as possible, but I may have missed some
things. Will await your comments.
