Just FYI. There's no shared memory, no DRI (direct rendering?), the driver is proprietary (nvidia) and the GPU is GeForce2 Go w/16MB memory. I guess having the compositor enabled on this laptop is a bit much for it. Thank you all for replying. -- hex1a4.net
