Thunar et font-thumbnailer

Hello, I have installed Slackware 12 and updated Xfce to 4.4.2 and 
Thunar 0.9.0.
But in Thunar, I can't have the font thumbnail view (it works for the 
images). When I try to click on a font, I have nearly (my display is in 
french) this response:
Execution of child processus 
/usr/share/thumbnailers/thunar-vfs-font-thumbnailer-1.desktop has fallen 
(Rights not given)

I don't understand why ???

Also different, but strange. I have just put on my PC, just startx with 
Xfce and I see in the top programm Thunar is already in memory.
Is it normal ? or is it a ghost ?
