Desktop Icons

Thanks to all who replied to my post about the desktop icons.

I *think* it must have been a faulty installation of xfce4 into Mandriva.

I have now installed it into Ubuntu using their instructions which are 
based on the install script from the xfce site.

All appears to be well and working correctly, so I can now start using 
xfce4.4rc1.

Later, I may try the script to install it into Mandriva.


Panic over - I hope ;-)
