Thoughts on XFCE 4.3.90: root-tail?

The best thing to do would be to run vanilla tail in a borderless, 
decorationless Terminal instance. It ought to be fairly straightforward to 
write a shell script to do it. If you're using Terminal as your usual 
terminal it won't be a great deal of overhead.
