hidden panel drop shadow

Hi

I'm using the latest svn version and just enabled the composite
extensions. They look really cool overal, but I have one small
complaint. There's an auto-hidden panel at the top of my screen and
its drop shadow is making window captions at the top of my screen look
ugly (aka shaded). Is there any way to stop that hidden panel from
having a drop shadow?
