Only 4!??! At one stage when I was getting ready for a performance, I
had 8 covered. I now manage to keep it to 2, with a few things on
their own desktop. I don't understand how windows people survive,
although they seem to do a lot of minimising, or "show desktop" to
start new programs, so maybe that's the trick :p

I sometimes like wallpaper, i.e. when I've just taken a really really
good picture, usually of one of my nieces, then it might be my
wallpaper for a few days, just so when family want to see it, I
quickly switch to an empty desktop and it's there!
