Repeat after me, ad nauseum, until you get it:

"No one is under any obligation to code anything for me, and the
developers may feel free to ignore my feature request if they aren't
interested.  If I really really want my request implemented, I should do
it myself, or find (and pay, if necessary) someone else willing and able
to do it."

Really, this belief by many people here that we're obligated to do what
you want is getting old.
