I've taken my turns back into Windows, KDE, Gnome and
even enlightenment, but XFCE4 is what offers the right
balance of usability and looks. It avoids the bloat of
Gnome, the excessiveness of KDE and the
non-compatibility of enlightenment. In short, XFCE4 is
like a cat. It can be fat, skinny, fast or show, but
it will always be purring.
