Weird user-specific malfunction problem

Hi

It could be a PATH issue, the root doesn't have the same PATH as others
regular users so it might pick another older install.

Try "which xfwm4" from root, and "which xfwm4" from another regular
user. Does it give the same result?

Cheers,
Olivier.
