did you compile from source? which version? do you have the lm-sensors
kernel modules? try running "sensors-detect" as root, it will print the
information on which modules to load. if you are then able to read your
sensors values using the "sensors" command on the command line, the
plugin should also be able to find your sensors.

modules are most simply added for permanent usage using "modconf" as
root or whatever your distribution provides.

please consider writing to xfce-goodies list, as this is the general
user list.
