it sounds like you are looking for information on how to read out your 
hardware sensors such as motherboard temperature, fan speed etc.

This is not part of the Xfce project. Only the panel plugin that 
displays the *output* of the 'sensors' program that comes with 
lm_sensors. (and it's only a contributed goodie - not part of the 'core' 
Xfce components).

You should read the information that comes with the lm_sensors program 
on how to setup and configure the lm_sensors package to read your 
hardware info.
