How to remove title bar on selected applications?

It does. I have been using sawfish for several years now, first with
Gnome and now (for 6 months) with xfce.
To start it, just

$ killall xfwm4 && sawfish &

To get it permanent, save session upon logout.

Note that i never cared about predefined keyboard shortcuts, though.
You may have to define the xfce specific shortcuts yourself. But that
should not be a problem using the sawfish gui.
