that would be because you've selected a gtk2 theme that uses the xfce 
theme engine, which is not installed or not installed properly (i.e., to 
the same prefix as gtk2).

have you messed around with the settings?  i still haven't had a chance 
to do my own testing...  perhaps tomorrow.
