Incidentally, I don't use session-manager in 4.0.5 (on a Mandrake 10.0
box).  If you don't care for it so much (I serve a similar purpose with
a bash script running out of my home directory, to which I link from
~/Desktop/Autostart), try getting rid of it; it's not necessary to start
XFCE.
