minor settings problems

I´m using xfce4.0.3 from debian packages... 

I´ve tried both, 16bit and 24bit...Neither one solve the problem...Is there 
any other set I can change to try to fix it? 

About the icons, I can leave w/ it indeed LOL. Xfce4 is too great to let the 
icon issue an issue ;)
