XFCE doesn't have a usable graphical login!

I don't have a "/etc/X11/xdm/Xsetup_0" on my Debian/sarge system. I've
tried to add the above statements at the end of "/etc/X11/xdm/Xstartup"
but this doesn't seems to work.
