I don't think a IBM-Thinkpad-380Z (PII-300MHz) with FreeBSD 4.7 is in
the funky clasification. The problem also pops up on an Athlon 900 MHz
with linux on a raid-1 partition spread over 4 separate controler/disks
(probably funky). I'm quite sure it was a case of mistaken library.
Maybe something screwy with libtool.
