XFCE4 FreeBSD 5.1 install problems

I have set it to the proper directory, as well as tried a few other 
directories, to no avail. I keep getting the error that the .pc file is >= 
3.99.2 (or 3.99.3 when using RC3) or something along those lines. :(.
