Getting Plugins To Show Up

The basic point is that the system monitor plugin is in the
right directory, but it doesn't show up. However, someone demonstrated
that the plugin is the wrong version. It's the latest version of xfce
(other than last night's cvs) and the latest version of the plugin, but
somehow they don't match.
