Installing Plugins

I'm fairly certain I'm up to date on the major packages (gdk, qt, etc) since this is a fresh install of mandrake 9.1 and I have tried to keep it updated..
it's no big deal.
I did try that rpm offered; have to restart the desktop to see if it's included? It isn't in my "add new items" list yet..
I'm just tinkering here, atm.. need to get back into things more soon tho; all these changes and advancements and I'm falling behind again ;)
