Session manager information?

Hi,

Where can I look to figure out:

what session manager XFce is using?

how to edit the stuff that it will attempt to start?

how to make it not use a session manager at all if editing the stuff it
starts turns out to be difficult?

I have two programs that I always run on my desktop: xplanetbg and
gkrellm. Both are initially launched via ~/Desktop/Autostart/script but
the session manager occasionally causes additional copies to be
launched. I don't really care which location starts the programs, so
long as I can find it, edit it, and prevent duplicate launches.
