I'm not sure this is a valid point. I found that many people said
the same thing about the 5.2 to 6.2 and 3.0.3 to 4.2 and 2.1 to 3.0.3.
The trick is to gather all the information and plan out the upgrade before
actually doing it. I haven't had many problems doing major version
upgrades myself.
