make error on mandrake 9

i ran urpmi autoconf2.5 successfully, then i got:
cd . && /bin/sh /usr/src/xfce-stable/missing --run autoconf
aclocal.m4:73: error: Autoconf version 2.54 or higher is required
aclocal.m4:73: the top level
make: *** [configure] Error 1
then i downloaded a fresh xfce-stable via cvs and now it works ;)
(the previous version was a copie source tree from a different machine)
