I have done basically the same thing (got the src.rpm of CVS from
Edscott yesterday and rebuilt it). The only difference I have from the
default is that I add --enable-old-style on the ./configure line in the
spec file. I haven't had anything amiss on the laptop at home or the
Dell at work. I'm not saying there isn't a problem, though.
