If some fellow italian is following the list, you might get an
answer. You might not. Or not pretty soon. She/he might be another
volunteer with limited spare time at this period.

From what I see at the team_it page, the explanation is there: a
initial page to get the new contributor started. Some conventions about 
term translation, etc.
The suggestions given there are not legal obligation. If you feel that
you have better solutions, put them in work during translation and
hopefully someone from Italian team would review them.

So you basically are ready to start contributing. :)
